Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of NannySync. By using NannySync, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use NannySync.

1. What NannySync does

NannySync helps families keep nanny-related records organized. The service may help users:

• log nanny hours
• group daily logs into weekly payment records
• mark payment records as sent after paying outside the app
• send or support nanny confirmation links
• allow nannies to confirm receipt
• generate payment summaries
• generate confirmed receipts
• review monthly records

NannySync does not move money, send money, process payroll, file taxes, or provide legal, tax, accounting, employment, or payroll advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding agreement to use NannySync. If you use NannySync on behalf of a family, household, business, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Nanny information and confirmation links

You are responsible for ensuring that nanny names, email addresses, hourly rates, logged hours, payment records, and other details entered into NannySync are accurate.

If you send or share a confirmation link with a nanny, you are responsible for ensuring the link is sent to the correct person.

A nanny confirmation means the nanny has confirmed receipt based on the information shown. NannySync does not independently verify payments, employment status, tax status, or legal compliance.

5. Payments are made outside NannySync

NannySync does not transfer funds between parents and nannies.

When you mark a payment as sent, you are recording that you made or intend to record a payment outside NannySync. NannySync is not responsible for whether a payment was actually made, received, delayed, reversed, disputed, or calculated correctly.

6. Records and receipts

NannySync may generate payment summaries and confirmed receipts based on the information entered by users.

These records are provided for organization and reference only. You are responsible for reviewing records for accuracy.

NannySync does not guarantee that any record, summary, receipt, or report satisfies tax, legal, accounting, employment, payroll, or regulatory requirements.

7. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

NannySync may offer a free trial and paid subscription plans.

If billing is enabled, subscription billing may be handled through Stripe or another payment provider. You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize applicable subscription charges.

Subscription details, trial length, price, renewal terms, and cancellation options should be shown at sign-up or billing management.

Unless otherwise stated, subscription fees are charged on a recurring basis until cancelled.

You are responsible for cancelling before renewal if you do not want to continue a paid subscription.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use NannySync for unlawful purposes
• enter false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• interfere with or disrupt the service
• attempt to access another user's account
• copy, reverse engineer, or misuse the service
• use NannySync to harass, harm, or impersonate others
• upload malicious code or harmful content

9. No professional advice

NannySync is not a law firm, accounting firm, payroll provider, tax advisor, employment advisor, or financial institution.

Information provided through NannySync is for general organization and recordkeeping. You should consult qualified professionals for legal, tax, accounting, employment, or payroll advice.

10. Service changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of NannySync at any time. We may also update features, design, pricing, or availability.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

NannySync is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NannySync and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, payment disputes, employment disputes, tax issues, or payroll issues arising from your use of the service.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless NannySync from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your records, your payments outside NannySync, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using NannySync at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or misused the service.

15. Governing law
